Compeer Friendship Program

Service Description

A community mental health program that supports improved quality of life and the self-esteem of adults with a mental illness. They offer one-to-one friendship with a caring volunteer. Friends meet up regularly for simple social activities, such as grabbing a bite to eat, going for a walk or visiting a local attraction. It addresses the stigma and isolation associated with mental illness, and provides a rewarding and social volunteer experience. Available to people 18 years and older.

Hours of Operation

Office hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm

Referral required from Health Professional or Mental Health Team.
