Sexual Assault Service Penrith
Service Description
The Sexual Assault provides specialised counselling and case management to adults, adolescents, and children who have experienced sexual assault at any time in their lives. Support for their non-offending families and carers is also available. SAS also coordinates a 24/7 integrated psychosocial, medical and forensic crisis responses for people sexually assaulted within the last seven days and, provisions a Domestic and Family Violence Forensic Documentation Service. The SAS service also incorporates the Safe Wayz program supporting children under ten who have displayed problematic or harmful sexualised behaviours, including their families and carers.
