Service Description

MoWaNa Safe Space Inc. is a non-clinical, volunteer-run drop-in service for anyone experiencing distress, suicidal thoughts, loneliness, or overwhelm. Our 50 trained volunteers, most with lived experience, offer compassionate listening, connection, and support without judgement or referral. It is confidentiality and we have a trauma-informed, “No Wrong Door” approach. Funded by our community, Mowana also offers wellness programs and men’s groups that foster connection, reduce isolation, and strengthen mental wellbeing across the Northern Beaches.
