Women's Activities & Self Help House

Service Description

A resource and support to improve the quality of life for women. They strive to reduce the impact to poverty, social disadvantage and violence on women's lives. They provide appropriate and culturally sensitive, accessible services that are responsive to the needs of local women. Some programs offered include group work and activities, Staying Home Leaving Home Domestic Violence support, crisis counselling, support to those applying or considering applying to the National Redress Scheme and intake and information workers.
