SWSLHD Health Language Services
Service Description
A multilingual and sign interpreter service for public patients in public health facilities within the Local Health District. There is a Health Translation Unit for translation of documents related to individual patient care. Interpreters are available in several languages. They may assist with hospital admission, medical instructions, consent forms, assessments and other directly related services. Interpreters are available face to face, by phone, sign, conferencing and video interpreting.
