Volunteering Opportunities
Family Drug Support runs training in most states for people interested in volunteering on our 24/7 support line. Applicants need access to a landline phone or a modern mobile, and to commit to one shift on our line every 3 weeks or so for a minimum of 12 months. We are looking for people who are great listeners, empathetic and non-judgmental, and who support harm reduction approach to alcohol and other drug use. https://www.fds.org.au/volunteers-training/volunteering-for-fds
