Health Consumers NSW
Service Description
Health Consumers NSW is an independent, member-based, not-for-profit organisation that works to strengthen the voice of people who use the NSW health system. We build meaningful partnerships with health consumers, health services, researchers, and policymakers to ensure lived experience shapes decisions that matter. We believe that when health consumers are genuinely involved in the research, design, delivery, and evaluation of healthcare, services become safer, more effective and more responsive. Our work supports better health outcomes, more consumer-centred care, and health systems that respect, value and listen to the people they serve. We support health consumer representatives through training, community, resources and advice. Everybody is welcome to become a member.
