Service Description

Bilingual services (One Door Mental Health) provide specialised support in mental health. Assisting people, carers, and their families with navigating referral pathways, provided by qualified workers from Social Work. Specifically, from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) professionals. As well as to streamlined population in Western Sydney. Services provided, such as A stepped care approach with flexible supports that respond to peoples changing mental health recovery needs. Case-management, psychosocial support and education session in mental health. These are facilitated, as a community-based groups in languages such as Arabic, Cantonese, Mandarin, Farsi, Hindi, Urdu and Ukrainian, Russian providing person-centred approach and services as required. Aim of the Service is to increase access to existing mental health services, to our growing diverse population as well as breaking down stigma and providing better understanding of mental health in community.
