Aged Care Psychiatry and Neurosciences Unit
Service Description
An acute gazetted mental health unit providing mental health care to people over the age of 65 years, who reside in the Cumberland and Blacktown LGAs. The multidisciplinary team works collaboratively with patients and their families, carers, GPs, community services, geriatric services, residential aged care facilities and other government and non-government organisations. There are 11 designated inpatient beds.
