Service Description
A short stay mental health unit, with 6 designated beds. It provides both voluntary and involuntary admissions for up to 48 hours. Extended monitoring and assessment are for people who have presented to the emergency department and require further treatment due to mental health crisis or exacerbation of their mental illness or disorder.
