Nepean Mental Health Centre
Service Description
Provides inpatient care for people experiencing acute mental health issues through the short-stay Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC), the Acute Mental Health Unit, Mental Health High Dependency Unit and Older Persons Mental Health Unit. They all provide 24-hour care by a skilled multidisciplinary team, including registered nurses. Patients are supported with medication and can be linked with a case manager for longer term support. Care is provided in a least restrictive environment appropriate to the person's needs.
