Namatjira Haven Drug and Alcohol Healing Centre
Service Description
Gulgihwen Residential Program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men 18 years and older to address drug and alcohol use disorders and related harms. It focuses on education and improving health and wellbeing. It is a culturally safe program that develops self-responsibility and change. Length of stay is determined by the individual - most residents stay 8 to 12 weeks. Men dealing with complex drug and alcohol use disorders and related harms can stay up to 6 months. Limited beds available for referrals from the justice system.
