Sutherland Mental Health Services--Acute Inpatient Unit
Service Description
Offers supervised care in hospital when community treatment is not possible. People are admitted with a mental illness or disorder for treatment in order to stabilise their mental state. Offers education and support to consumers and their families during their stay in hospital, and also provides activity programs and occupational therapy. There are 19 inpatient beds.
