Shine for Kids

Service Description

A support service for children, young people and families with relatives in the criminal justice system. Services include Prison Invisits Program, Child and Family Activity Centre, Child and Parent Activity Days, Storytime, Rise Mentoring for primary school aged children (only in certain areas), BUGK -Bringing up Great Kids an evidence based parenting program for Mum's and Dad's, Stand as One mentoring for young people in the youth justice system, Belonging to Family for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families (only in certain areas). It also provides supervised contact visits for children to see their parents in the prison upon referral and approval processes.
