St George TAFE College Counselling and Career Development Unit
Service Description
A free counselling service for prospective students to assist with career development, course planning and selection. Counsellors also assist enrolled students with study problems, exam performance anxiety and managing learning difficulties; as well as a range of personal matters that may impact on their learning. This may include stress management, mental health issues, relationship difficulties, dealing with conflict, harassment and bullying, financial, legal and health matters and crisis situations. The service provides information about community resources, government agencies and refers to specialist services.
