Department of Communities and Justice - Youth Justice - Armidale
Service Description
Responsible for the care and supervision of young offenders in the community and in juvenile justice centres. It provides programs to juvenile offenders, aged 10-18 years of age, to address their behaviour and reduce risks of reoffending. Support services include assessment reports to assist courts with sentencing, supervision of juveniles placed on probation, good behaviour bonds or parole, support for bail and remand, participation in forensic programs and community services, and assistance with accommodation, employment, and returning to school.
