Alcohol and Drug Service ACT
Service Description
A drug and alcohol service that provides services, education and health promotion. It includes drug and alcohol management, client care for people with complex needs and who are prescribed Opiate replacement, medicated withdrawal for in patient and outpatient, medical advice for patients, GPs and Health Practitioners, and education for professionals and the general public. It operates Wruwallin Clinic, for treatment and support of opioid drug addictions, and supervised withdrawal service with 24 hour medical access. Other programs include Youth Drug and Alcohol Program, Aboriginal Liaison Officer, Counselling and Treatment, and a Co-Morbidity Service for people with mental health and drug and alcohol issues.
