Pregnancy and Newborn Service Network

Service Description

Support for parents and families during and after the birth of their baby. It aims to improve the quality and safety of maternal and neonatal care in NSW, focusing on women and their families who are at high risk of an adverse outcome. It works with clinicians in perinatal medicine to discuss outcomes, policies and resources by coordinating networks, discussion forums, Neonatal Intensive Care Units, and the PAL and FONT programs for midwives, obstetric consultants and support staff. This is an information service for the public and works mainly with professionals.
