Tweed Palliative Support
Service Description
A community run organisation that provides free support services for people with a life limit illness. Support is offered to the patient, families and carers. They assist with personal care, shopping , transport to medical appointments, and loan of medical equipment. There is a Hospice Wedgetail Retreat that caters to and supports inpatient for palliative respite or end of life care. Home based palliative care services are available in the community.
