Service Description

Provides community and support services to the Indigenous community. It includes Referral and Advocacy Services, Property Management of Aboriginal Housing properties, , Birriwal Support Services for families of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people who have had problems at school, or who come from a home with domestic or family violence, drug or alcohol abuse, Out of Home Care, Going Home Staying Home, providing accommodation to Aboriginal young people who are homeless or at risk, Men's program for awareness and prevention of domestic violence, Child Protection intervention, Child Care, and MST-CAN, a program for vulnerable families under the attention of child protection. Services. operate throughout Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, HUnter Region and Port Stephens.
