South West Sydney Tenants Advice and Advocacy Service

Service Description

Provides advice and advocacy to tenants in public or private housing. Advocacy is available for Tribunal hearings (needs to be confirmed beforehand). Community education provided to frontline workers and tenants, and participates in policy and law reform. Advice is available to tenants who are renting privately, in social housing, renting premises of a Local Aboriginal Land Council, shared housing, residential parks, boarder or lodgers, and affordable housing, for issues including evictions, ending a tenancy, repairs, rent, bonds, locks and security, NCAT matters, strata, and domestic violence and tenancies.
