Blue Mountains Volunteer Home Visitors
Service Description
Support services provided to people 65 years and older who are frail or have disability, and their carers. Volunteers visit the person in their homes, assisting with independent living and remaining at home. Services include shopping assistance (a small cost is involved), writing, reading, home library service from Blaxland Library, and support and respite for carers.
