headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation. It is a holistic health service providing FREE counselling, psychology and support for 12-25year olds in the Port-Macquarie-Hastings area. Focussing on early intervention, our centre provides a safe, non-judgmental and inclusive space where young people can be themselves. Our multidisciplinary team consists of Mental Health Coaches and Clinicians, Social workers, Psychologists, Tele-psychiatrist, GP, Practice Nurse and Dietician. We help young people through challenges that may relate to school, work, study, drugs and alcohol, general health and wellbeing, relationships with family or friends, and more. In addition, our centre offers psycho-education workshops, parent/carer support and therapy sessions, social inclusion activities such as art, guitar, stand-up paddle boarding, walking and LGBTQIA+ groups.
