Intermediate Stay Mental Health Unit
Service Description
A 20 bed non-acute mental health facility. For patients with serious mental illness and high needs for psychiatric rehabilitation that cannot be met by other rehabilitation services, including complex cases, substance abuse, and poor compliance. The focus is on rehabilitation with a six week program for transition back to the community. May be longer if required.
