Intermediate Stay Mental Health Unit
Service Description
A 20 bed non-acute mental health rehabilitation unit. For people with moderate to severe mental health problems and associated functional impairment, who are motivated to engage in their own recovery and functional gain. The focus is on person centred, recovery orientated mental health rehabilitation for a six to twelve week admission including transition back to a home in the community. Referrals can be from any mental health clinician engaged with the person - contact ISMHU for details.
