HIV and LGBTQ+ Counselling
Service Description
Provides confidential short term counselling (up to 12 sessions) for people living with or affected by HIV and LGBTQ+ people who are ineligible for Medicare and/or are experiencing financial hardship seeking support in relation to their mental health and wellbeing. Counsellors use solutions focused models and a range of therapeutic approaches to better equip people to deal with life�s challenges. This service is not suitable for people who have suicidal thoughts or risk, people who use violence, or people with unmanaged mental illness or substance abuse.
