Service Description

Externally accredited, registered charity formed in 1976. For 50 years, we have operated as Lismore’s neighbourhood centre, providing grass roots welfare support and capacity building services for disadvantaged people and communities. Our services now extend from Lismore to Northern New South Wales, and more broadly across the state. We welcome all ages, cultures and backgrounds. We are a child safe organisation, an LGBTQIA+ safe space and are a trusted provider for First Nations communities. People seeking support can access our wrap around suite of services which include: • Information, advice, assisted referrals and advocacy. • Emergency relief, food boxes, Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA). • NILs no interest loans, financial counselling. • Affordable outside school hours care. • Counselling for children and adult survivors of childhood sexual assault. • Reproductive and sexual health. • First Nations homelessness support. • Families and parents. • Volunteering services
