Service Description
Externally accredited, registered charity formed in 1976. For 50 years, we have been providing grassroots welfare support and capacity building services for disadvantaged people and communities across Northern NSW. We welcome all ages, cultures and backgrounds. We are a child safe organisation, an LGBTQIA+ safe space and are a trusted provider for First Nations communities. People seeking support can access our wrap around suite of services which include: ⢠Information, advice, assisted referrals and advocacy ⢠Trauma counselling ⢠Reproductive and sexual health services ⢠Food pantry ⢠Financial counselling ⢠No interest loans (NILs) ⢠Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) ⢠Affordable outside school hours care ⢠First Nations homelessness support ⢠Families and parents ⢠Digital literacy support ⢠Volunteering services and more

Volunteering Opportunities
⢠Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) partners volunteers with isolated seniors for social connection. ⢠Be Connected partners volunteer digital coaches with older people to build digital skills. ⢠Tomorrow Ready provides volunteers with training and opportunities to be ready for the next disaster. ⢠Volunteer management builds the capacity of local communities and groups to work with volunteers better.
