Service Description

Toukley Neighbourhood Centre (TNC) is a local community organisation managed by a volunteer Board of Management. We receive funding from NSW Dept of Communities & Justice to operate a community centre that provides information, referral, support, community education, volunteering opportunities and community connection. The community support includes partnerships with other community organisations, local outreach, programs, activities and food / material assistance. We assist with emergency relief and EAPA appointments. We receive other funding from DSS and Dept of Fair Trading to operate a No Interest Loans Scheme and from Dept of Health for our Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme. Our funding is supplemented by revenues from our Op Shop, various one-off grants and fund raising.
