Service Description
A volunteer organisation that brings trained therapy dogs to local hospitals, nursing homes and schools. Dogs are trained in specialised areas such as working with children, people with disabilities, young adults, older people, palliative care and emergency services. There is a court service program that supports people who are testifying in court. It assists them to overcome emotions while testifying. Dogs are also available to attend mental health appointments.
