Service Description
The largest brain research group in the Southern Hemisphere, with a goal to prevent illness, advance treatment and find cures. A number of brain diseases are studied, including Stroke, Alzheimers Disease, Parkinson's Disease, Epilepsy, Schizophrenia, Addiction, Mental Illness, Motor Neurone Disease, Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Depression and Huntington's Disease. The Institute provides stroke rehabilitation, imaging technology and epidemiological studies, working to improve quality of life for individuals affected by this diseases, and to ultimately find cures.
