Victims & Witnesses of Crime Court Support

Service Description

VWCCS provides free Court support for victims and police witnesses of crime, including court preparation, information about rights and legal terms, support during court, liaison with Prosecutors and police and assistance with Victim Impact Statements. VWCCS also works with agencies to support victims and witnesses affected by crime. VWCCS currently operates from Level 1, Downing Centre Court, Liverpool St, Sydney; Parramatta Children's, Local and District Courts and Newcastle Local and District courts. Yes. We offer opportunities to train as a Court Support Officer or work on our Reception and Information Desks at the Downing Centre, Parramatta and Newcastle Courts.
