Service Description

We rescue edible surplus food from growers, manufacturers and retailers and distribute it free of charge to over 1,400 charities and not-for-profit organisations to feed vulnerable Aussies in need. Our partners use the rescued food for nourishing meals, emergency relief packages, community pantries and much more. SecondBite does not provide food relief directly to individuals, relying on the many community agency partners to transform the food we provide them into food hampers, community meals, and used for breakfast programs and market-style food banks, to relieve hunger in communities.
