RSPCA Community Aged Care Program
Service Description
A program for older people that assists them to care for their pets in their own homes. The Aged Care Program is available to people who are 65 years and older, Indigenous Pet Owners over 50 years of age, and Palliative Care patients. The service includes temporary foster care or boarding if the person requires medical treatment in hospital, home visits to assist with pet care, pet grooming, transport to and from local veterinarian, and assistance with dog walking or in home care for pets.
