Mental Health Advocacy Service
Service Description
A specialist service of Legal Aid, that provides free legal information, advice and assistance about mental health law. Provides information for involuntary hospital admissions, appearances before the Guardianship and NCAT Tribunal, and advice for families and friends. Advice is given for appeals to the Mental Health Tribunal Board, financial management matters, Mental Health Act, NSW Trustee. Appointments may be arranged to speak with a lawyer.
