Child Abuse Prevention Service

Service Description

Established in 1973, the Child Abuse Prevention Service (CAPS) is the oldest child abuse prevention organisation in Australia. CAPS is a non-government, non-religious charitable organisation that works with vulnerable children and people across Australia to prevent child maltreatment in all its forms, including emotional, physical, sexual and online abuse. We provide evidence-based educational programs, counselling, bespoke solutions and consulting to build well-being, emotional resiliency and ensure that children are safe, supported, and loved. Our staff are experienced in the field of child abuse and include psychologists, policy experts and counsellors, all well-equipped to design and deliver solutions to forever break the cycle of abuse
