Habitat For Humanity Australia

Service Description

Habitat for Humanity Australia is a people powered housing organisation, together building safe, healthy, and dignified homes and communities. Habitat for Humanity was founded in the United States of America in 1976, we are now a worldwide movement of more than one million people, working in over 60 countries, supporting more than 65 million people. Globally, 2.8 billion people live in inadequate housing, and in Australia, 1.1 million people live in homes in a poor condition and more than 122,000 are homeless on any given night. Habitat for Humanity Australia works with families and community members to build secure homes, laying the foundation for improved health, mental wellbeing, hygiene, and livelihoods. Through donations, volunteering or adding your voice to advocate for affordable housing, everyone can help families build a better tomorrow.
