An exercise therapy program designed to help people suffering from depression and anxiety. Trainers have experience using exercise to relieve mood disorders, and awareness of the impact of factors such as medication and inactivity. Participants are asked to commit to attending three classes per week (each runs for 55-60mins) for at least eight weeks. All classes are tailored to the fitness level of each individual, including people with a sedentary lifestyle. People with unipolar, post-natal or bipolar depressions and/or anxiety disorders are encouraged to attend. The program is offered in conjunction with each participant's usual treatment. Operates in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
