Naremburn School

Service Description

Provides individualised education aimed at addressing each student's academic, vocational and behavioural needs. Students who have exhausted the support offered in their mainstream school may be referred to Naremburn School through the referral process. The program caters for students in years seven to twelve inclusive. Students are provided with intensive behavioural support, vocational preparation and an educational program which meets Board of Studies outcomes in a structured and supportive classroom environment.

Hours of Operation

9.00 to 2.20, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, Wed 9:00am-12:00pm

Referral System

Referrals through a learning support team at the student's home school. It is then reviewed by a panel for acceptance and appropriateness of placement. At the time of referral, a returning school is to be negotiated and nominated thus ensuring a close communication link during the student's enrolment at Naremburn School. At the exit stage of the program a student may return to their nominated school, another school, TAFE, employment, a work related program or an apprenticeship/traineeship depending on which particular program will best meet the needs of the student.

Service Fees

Fees may apply for resources or activities. Uniform shirts and jackets are loaned daily by the school.
