Northern Sydney Intensive English Centre

Service Description

Provides intensive English language instruction, orientation, welfare and settlement support to newly arrived high school students, aged 11-18 years of age. Students are assessed on enrollment and placed in an age appropriate and English level appropriate class where they study English, mathematics, science, social studies, art, music and personal development. The average length of stay at the IEC is 35 weeks, after which time students are transitioned to their local government high school.
