Side By Side Advocacy

Service Description

We provide advocacy support for people with disability in most suburbs of Sydney. Advocacy support related to supported employment is available across NSW. Staff have specialist skills providing advocacy support for people with intellectual disability. We provide advocacy support in the way that suits the person. Our advocacy support can involve many things, including helping people with intellectual disability speak up and take action, understand options, and know their rights. We have experience helping people with issues like navigating healthcare systems, employment issues, appealing decisions of National Disability Insurance Scheme at the Administrative Review Tribunal and more. We cannot fix all problems, but we may be able to find someone else who can help you. We also have projects and programs that support community inclusion and inclusive governance.
