Service Description
A government agency that is responsible for protecting children and young people from risk of significant harm. This includes child abuse, neglect, sexual abuse and domestic violence. There is a child protection hotline to report cases of abuse against children, and calls will be followed up by the agency. They will influence government policy regarding child protection, housing, homelessness, community inclusion and supporting Aboriginal children, families and communities.
