Central Coast Youth Health Clinic
Service Description
Supports young peoples' access to mainstream health services through working with young people (ages 14-24 years) and community and health agencies. Services provided include primary health clinics at Youth Health Service and local youth centres, outreach through youth centres, youth refuges and youth training programs, Aboriginal Youth Health Worker, counselling (at community health centres), and worker on duty, providing referral and information. The Chronic Illness Peer Support program (ChIPS) is designed for youth feeling isolated due to chronic illness as a means of gaining support from each other in addition to clinical support.
