MATES
Service Description
Formed to reduce the level of suicide and improve the mental health and wellbeing of construction workers in the New South Wales. Provides a unique program of training, simple tools and support structure which allows workers to provide direct help for their mates and to keep them safe before seeking professional help- Mates Helping Mates. Suicide prevention is through community development programs on sites and with support workers in need through case management.
