Wauchope District Memorial Hospital
Service Description
A public hospital with 22 inpatient beds. There are 12 dedicated Rehabilitation beds, 2 general beds and 8 Specialist Sub Acute Palliative Care beds, along with an Infusion Centre. The hospital has one operating theatre for day surgery only. An Urgent Care Centre operates from 8am-6pm, with the closest Emergency Department at Port Macquarie Base Hospital. Community Health Centre is on the same campus. There are no mental health services provided, patients referred to Port Macquarie Base Hospital for inpatient services.
