House of Welcome

Service Description

Provides support and advocacy services to individuals and families who are seeking asylum. Assistance is given to people seeking asylum living in the community and waiting an outcome on their application for protection. Services include assistance or referrals for accommodation, casework and employment support. Clients can request an intake appointment to look at food and financial security options. House of Welcome also has a catering social enterprise which provides employment pathways for people seeking asylum, and provides the community with delicious, culturally diverse catering options.

People seeking asylum can self refer by phone. Agency referrals can be sent via email to intake@houseofwelcome.org.au using the HHWWG referral form.
