Child Behaviour Research Clinic
Service Description
Provides family based treatments to support children aged between 2 9 years experiencing a range of behavioural and emotional problems (e.g., aggression, emotional outbursts, defiance) and neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD). This includes a new integrated intervention for families with children aged 2 5 years 11 months with Autism Spectrum Disorder level 2 or 3 that focusses on helping empower parents to manage child behavioural difficulties, promoting positive parent-child interactions to help children develop social-communication and emotional regulation skills, and providing support for parental wellbeing and parental teamwork. Access to programs requires research participation and programs are largely run online, with self-directed online programs also available. The Child Behaviour Research Clinic is based at the University of Sydney Brain and Mind Centre.
