Child Protection Unit-Sydney Children's Hospital
Service Description
The unit provides forensic medical and counselling health services for children and their families following allegations of child abuse or neglect. Services are for children and young people 0-16 years of age, and include forensic, medical and psycho-social assessment, medical investigations and treatment, support and counselling to children and their families where sexual abuse has been investigated, advocacy and case management, and expert court testimony.
