Service Description

A charity that promotes the individual right to decision making. Advocates to ensure that when a person is lacking capacity to make their own decisions that necessary safeguards are in place to prevent abuse, neglect and exploitation. Assistance to people with disability, carers, health professionals, and providers of legal and financial advice to have greater understanding of legal and practical requirements for decision making in disability. Contributes to research and education in this area, and promotes awareness about planning so people can make advance directives about care.
