Service Description

A community youth organisation for young people aged 12-18 years of age. It offers a cafe area, pool table, group meeting room. Activities include: Free after school tutoring for students from low-income families is provided every Wednesday and Thursday with the help of a committed group of volunteers. In-school programs on a range of mental health and wellbeing programs for both primary and high schools. The Youth Advisory Group works with Highlands Youth Services, Wingecarribee Shire Council and other organisations throughout the year. The Aboriginal Respect Circle is a place of learning, healing, reflection and reconciliation. Cultural events are advertised regularly. The Youth Hub is open for drop-in after school each Wednesday till 6pm, and throughout school holidays. All young people between 12 and 18 are welcome at the Hub where there are supportive youth workers, counsellors and a range of fun activities, food and free wifi!
