Goulburn Family Support Service

Service Description

A small community managed, government funded, not for profit agency that works with local disadvantaged families in crisis. Support is provided through advocacy around issues such as housing, emergency food and financial assistance, and referrals to medical practitioners. Assistance is also provided for families finding difficulty in caring and supporting their children. There is a playgroup for isolated parents caring for young children, and a parenting workshop, casework and counselling.
